Website Accessibility Statement
Holton Community Hospital is committed to providing Website Accessibility for all patients, visitors, and community members, including individuals with disabilities.
We believe every person should be able to access healthcare information with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence. Digital accessibility is an ongoing commitment, and we continue to monitor, review, and improve our website to support accessibility for all users.
Our Accessibility Efforts
Holton Community Hospital has taken steps to improve the accessibility of holtonhospital.com in alignment with recognized accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
As part of this effort, Holton Community Hospital uses the UserWay Pro Accessibility Platform. This platform provides website visitors with accessibility tools and user-triggered enhancements, including options to adjust text size, change color contrast, pause animations, improve keyboard navigation, highlight links, adjust spacing, and use other accessibility features.
The website also uses UserWay’s Automated Remediation Technology to support accessibility improvements for all visitors. These automated remediations may assist with items such as alternative text for images and non-text content, keyboard navigation support, focus indicators, skip links, and other accessibility improvements.
In addition to automated tools, Holton Community Hospital continues to review website content, images, headings, links, forms, documents, videos, and third-party integrations to support ongoing accessibility.
Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is not a one-time project. Holton Community Hospital recognizes that digital accessibility requires ongoing attention as website content, technology, and accessibility standards continue to evolve.
We welcome feedback from users and are committed to addressing accessibility concerns as they are identified.
