K-State will visit Jackson County and Holton on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, and Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. The visit will include two days of activities to engage with, listen to and learn from Kansans in Holton and the Jackson County region, including a child care needs discussion at HCH. Holton Community Hospital will be hosting a facilitated conversation with Jackson County’s child care task force, K-State Research and Extension and local partners as we focus on addressing local child care needs and efforts. In this session, we will highlight results from the most current needs assessment and strategize for a future that is responsive to the needs of all children and families within the community.
