Our HIM staff at HCH has a wide range of knowledge (from physical therapy, radiology, IT, transcription, too billing) and over 50+ years of healthcare experience! Our staff has an extraordinary impact. They ensure a patient’s health information is complete, accurate, and protected!  All while working on the classification of diseases and treatments to ensure they are standardized for clinical, financial, and legal uses in healthcare.

A new service HIM has added is Prior Authorization! Quinn Schumann and Shelly Coverdale are responsible for screening prior-authorization and coordination of specialized services requested at Holton Community Hospital, including a broad range of requests for outpatients, ancillary and clinic services.
