The Holton Community Hospital Board of Directors seek to further the hospital’s mission of professionalism, compassion and excellence in healthcare for a healthier community.
As elected officials, the Board of Directors oversee the hospital’s operations and guide strategic planning to provide quality care to the Kansas communities we serve.

Through philanthropic giving, the Holton Community Hospital Foundation supports the hospital in achieving its goals of compassion, professionalism, and excellence in healthcare. The Foundation builds lifelong relationships with contributors, raises funds, and dedicates its resources to further advance the needs of Holton Community Hospital and those it serves.
Gifts to the Holton Community Hospital Foundation provide enhanced health care services for the entire community.
Gifts to the Foundation are made in multiple ways:
- Cash donation (unrestricted or restricted)
- Contribution toward a special Foundation project
- Donation of securities and existing or new life insurance policies
- Donation of land, buildings, or personal property
- Creation of a charitable gift annuity
- Charitable remainder trust
- Memorial or remembrance gifts
- Endowments
Holton Community Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Committee
The Patient and Family Voice is a partnership among patients and families with members of our healthcare team to provide guidance on how to improve the patient and family experience at your local healthcare organization. Our goal is to ensure that the patient perspective is integrated into service, quality and safety improvements throughout our healthcare system in an effort to enhance the patient experience. The Patient and Family Voice is committed to “providing professionalism, compassion and excellence in healthcare for a healthier community.”
Winner of a 2025 Emerald Award form the Kansas Association of HealthCare Communicators (KAHCC) for their work on the HCH Foundation Magazine. The PFAC advisors provided countless hours of editorial work on the magazine over the spirng of 2024 for the first edition of the magazine.

Pay $15 annual membership dues
Attend quarterly meetings from noon to 1 p.m. on the first Tuesday of January, April, July, and October
Holton Community Hospital Auxiliary
Established in 1967 by Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, the Hospital Auxiliary has been an active organization for over 58 years. At the end of its first year, the Auxiliary had 126 members. Although the Auxiliary currently has about 40 paid members, there is always a tremendous response to requests for assistance with fundraising projects.
The Auxiliary membership meets four times a year and has a Board of Officers who meet monthly. The Auxiliary’s main fundraising projects are as follows:
Mother’s Day Bake Sale held in May
Fall Soup Luncheon held in October
Holiday Candy Sale held in December
The success of these fundraisers depends on our members, who are amazing volunteers and always respond abundantly to our calls for help. Hospital employees, even if not members, also contribute to the success of these events.
All proceeds from these fundraisers support the Hospital by purchasing equipment and supplies that enhance the patient experience at Holton Community Hospital.
In its 58 years of service to Holton Community Hospital, the Auxiliary has raised $324,268 — and counting.
